Passion's Fire

This poem is about a night of passion between two people who just happen to be in relationships, but not to each other. They are both in relationships that leaves them feeling that something is missing. More specifically, it describes the heat of the moment and then the guilt left behind

Passion’s Fire

A Kiss to remember, A touch so soft and tender
The smell of her sweet fragrance, No, rush I have all night to be patient
As passion fuels the fire, We inhale each other’s fumes to get higher
No words need to be spoken, No promises to be kept
No lies to be told, Only actions so Bold
Longing to hold her in my arms, If only for one night
Such precious little time, Vowed to one another in a lonely crime
One night of passion one night of pain, Being lonely and wanted is to be the blame
Tomorrow will bring sorrow Yes, it may even bring shame
With the memory of this one special night, A release from Passion’s Flame
